Columbia Community Scholars Program Now Accepting Applications for 2017
Tuesday, April 4, 2017
Columbia University is looking for independent, community-based scholars in Northern Manhattan neighborhoods to join its annual Columbia Community Scholars Program.
Selected participants will be able to tap a range of University services and resources at no cost to them. These include access to all of University libraries—including online access—course auditing privileges, dialogue with scholars in their field of study, and the ability to participate in seminars and social events developed specifically for the group.
Participants are not required to have a degree from a higher education institution. To be eligible, applicants must be a Borough of Manhattan resident living north of 96th Street, cannot have a current affiliation with Columbia University, and must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
